Sally Fitzgibbons began her ASP Dream Tour campaign in 2009 after a historic run on the ASP WQS in 2008, making history by winning the series by the biggest point-spread ever to qualify for the Top 17 before the halfway point in the season. The natural-footer from Gerroa has continued to refine her game after stepping on to the elite stage, launching an impressive campaign in 2010 to finish ASP World No. 2 with four final appearances over eight events.

Aside from her style and flare in the ocean, Fitzgibbons is also an accomplished athlete in both track and field and soccer, but was drawn to surfing for her career of choice. Although Fitzgibbons finaled in four events last year, her elite event victory eluded her throughout last season, so look for the athletic Australian to return hungrier and more dangerous than ever in 2011.
