The Australian talent hailing from Lennox Head teetered on the brink of qualification for the ASP World Tour for years and after joining the elite ranks in 2010 Adam Melling showed he belonged with the world’s best after an amazing performance at the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay saw him finish runner-up to Jordy Smith.

Melling’s lightning-quick speed, polished style and power in righthand pointbreaks have the critics comparing him to the likes of two-time ASP World Champion Mick Fanning and with several waves on the elite stage that suit the young natural-footer’s strengths to a tee, Melling will be a force to be reckoned with in his second year on the ASP Dream Tour.
